खुले आसमान के नीचे रहने वाले आज बंद दरवाजों में कैद हैं।
खुद को आजाद परिंदा कहने वाले आज दिखावे की आवाजों में कैद हैं। खुद के रास्तों पे चलने वाले आज भ्रम के रास्तों के पीछे कैद हैं।
The sky was open, so why be confined?
The air was pure, so why live in illusion?
The path was chosen correctly, so why keep a distance from loved ones?
The talent was complete, so why was faith incomplete?
While becoming independent, why did we become dependent again?
While living on our own paths, why did we become imprisoned?
Why did we become strangers even while knowing?
Why did we start considering the world of films as reality?
Why did we become prisoners without any crime?
आसमान तो खुला मिला पर बंद क्यों होना है?
हवा तो शुद्ध थी, भ्रम में क्यों रहना है?
रास्ता तो सही चुना, फिर अपनों से दूरी क्यों रखना है?
काबिलियत तो पूरी, फिर विश्वास अधूरा क्यों रहा?
इंडिपेंडेंट होते-होते, फिर डिपेंड क्यों हुए?
अपनी रास्तों पे जीते-जीते, कैद में क्यों हुए?
जानकर भी अनजान क्यों बन गए?
फिल्मों की दुनिया को हकीकत क्यों मानने लग गए?
क्यों बिना जुर्म के ही कैदी बन गए?
